A Week In The Life Of Me
This is not going to be a fucking rainbows n sunshine kind of post. Ive had it up to HERE. I LOVE my job and I HATE it all at the same time. There are guys that make my line of work (and a few couples) fabulous but this week has been nothing but bullshitters.
I can tell them from a mile away but they always say "Trust me." Thats the problem. I do. And I always regret it.
This week started out with the guy that wanted me to drive all the way to Union Missouri from St Louis (for those that arent familiar it would take me like a little over an hour there plus the same coming back). He said multi hour so I dont mind the drive. Thankfully I checked him out. Fake name. Fake address. Fake street names. This is after I had got out of bed and ready for the drive.
Then last night, again, I got out of bed and ready. To drive to an address in an alright, yet not spectactular part of St Louis. Guy said he was sober and plenty of money. Even sent me a pic. Said he lived alone. I arrived to find his GRANDMOTHER was there playing cards on the couch. I kid you not. He took me into a small cramped room with no bed that held storage stuff and tried to play stupid offering me street girl prices for some head. I turned around and left.
Then today I get a call from a guy at a hotel. He checks out. I get ready and drive there rushing because he has a flight to catch. Then he doesnt want to answer the phone. Then he has the nerve to claim I have a guy with me in my vehicle. He doesn't want to get robbed. I NEVER have a guy come with me ever. I can defend myself. Someone knows where I am at all times.
So twice this week I have wasted my gas to go to appointments that dont work out. And my landlord, I love her cause she is flexible with me wants the rest of my rent ($250) NOW. And this is what Ive been dealing with.
I bust my ASS to make sure I am legit. All I am asking is for a little COURTESY and RESPECT in return. I don't think that is alot to ask.
