New Site Coming Soon
I'm putting the finishing touches on my new website, and included is a new blog! So I suppose this is my last post here....
It's been a while (I'm sorry I'm not terribly consistent with my writing!) but not much has changed - I've been spending a lot of time riding around town in my convertible (I have a nice summer tan to prove it) and enjoying every minute of this beautiful weather!
I'm working on refurnishing my apartment with select mid-century modern pieces - so far I've been very lucky to find amazing items in my neighborhood and the surrounding Chicago area - I'll say this, the midwest definitely has some of the best vintage shopping I've seen for the prices! Lamps, dresses, couches, dining sets - you name it, Chicago has it, in spades, down the street :)
I'm going to LA next week to visit friends and lay on the beach and eat eat EAT glorious delicious FRESH food all day long!! then later this fall or at the end of summer, I'll make it back out to DC and Boston, and hopefully NYC too! But Chicago is best in the summer, so apart from patriotic celebrations in my favorite California beach town, I'm all yours ;)
New Photos
Well, I'm a redhead now - can you believe it?? I'm a fashion girl and I just love changing my look, so now I've got fiery red hair down just past my nipples, making it the perfect hair to wear topless :X
Anyway, so I had this really amazing photoshoot and I just got back the first round of photos - can you say wow??? He really is very talented, and the more we get to know each other, the greater our photoshoots are :) This time I really spent a lot of time working out the details for each shoot - I enlisted the help of my roommate for styling (she just loves to shop and she knows me really well) and picked several items from my current wardrobe and threw it together to create this masterful photoshoot I can't really take much credit for in the end (all I did was show up, follow direction, and try not to laugh too hard at myself!)
You should see the outtakes - all the awkward laughter and strange poses are quite a gas! Anyway, there are a lot more photos to come, but I'm still sorting them out and then deciding whether to figure out Wordpress (I'm getting to lazy to handwrite my own code) or be ultra sophisticated and hire a web designer who is not me...

Touring!
I've been so busy lately I've forgotten to blog, silly me!
Over the last month I've started touring :) First I went to Los Angeles (for work and play!) and then Boston, and now I'm off to DC/BWI for a few days! I've got a calendar posted on my site now so you can keep up with me, but I'm thinking I'll stay in Chicago for the summer! It's such nice weather in the summer and I'm really looking forward to riding around with the top down on my new convertible :)
In other news, I've completely changed my look! I'm now a redhead, and I've got a new photoshoot scheduled so as soon as I can I'll be updating my site with new pictures and I'll post some here too - I really cannot wait to see what they'll look like. I have so much fun changing my look, it's definitely one of the best parts about being a woman - some find there's a lot of pressure to be a certain way, but I really enjoy the creative freedom in altering my look :)
