I hope you all had a Glorious Holiday Season!!!

Mine was super Fab - I shucked off all my long endured Family traditions in the realization that my desires for a large warm family moment was never going to happen and instead chose to make it fun and easy for my teeny tiny family. I thought I would regret it but in the end I must say it was the easiest and most enjoyable Christmas I have ever had and for once I did not end up exhausted and extremely disappointed crying over an untouched plate of food.

I am almost embarassed to admit that I tool the easy road. We satyed up all night Xmas eve, playing Phase 10. We all slept in until 2 in the afternoon haha. Exchanged our gifts - my kids were completely satisfied with their haul lol. We all adjurned to our own individual activities until it was time to head out to dinner at The Journey. Taking a page out of The Christmas Story I had made our chinese dinner plans 2 days after my Thanksgiving disaster. Cheesy as I thought it might be Dinner was absolutely delicious and everyone was full of smiles and laughter as we waddled happily out to my old beater and made our way home. We spent the remainder of our night watching my DVD collection of the old Clay-mation Christmas specials (the only xmas movies I truly enjoy and never get tired of lol)

Other than that I have been busy as all get out with my day job. I probably made a mistake by taking Xmas eve and Xmas off - giving the most primo gigs to my employees - who I knew needed the money desperately, thereby allowing me to for once just sit back and enjoy a holiday for a change.

Due to the increase in business I had to take a small hiatus from the hobby. Last year I took a couple weeks off but with the boost in business this year I saw no other option than to take off after Thanksgiving. I haven't even really logged in to many of my accounts since just before my Birthday lol. Feels like a lifetime ago right now though.

I would like to thank everyone who sent Birthday wishes, as well as Holiday Blessings. Your thoughtfulness astounds me and I truly do appreciate each and everyone of you for being so good to me. I also want to extend my deepest apologies and heartfelt thanks to those of you whom I have neglected during my holiday hiatus. I know you all understand the need to focus our dedication toward our employment and obligations outside of this lifestyle and I really do appreciate all of the support and understand that my friends have always offered to me in my endeavors. You are all far too good to me.

Now I just have to get through the new year and then my availability will be back up to snuff. I look forward to catching up to all my friends very very soon. I have to admit that I am very much looking foward to bidding this decade a very bitter farewell and look forward to much brighter days ahead in the coming decade.

Blessed Be!

Kat

Update

So my amazing children brought the flu home for Momma! I must say that I have not been this sick in a long long time.

Today I awoke to the vague remnants of a 3 week headache and to be honest I am terrified that it's only laying low and not completely gone haha.

Seriously though I am feeling much much better. I am still going to take the rest of the week off just to be sure I don't share any unwanted little flu germies with any of my friends or benefactors.

My daughter did an amazing job in the schools fall play - it was Great!

Other than that I haven't done much pther than acting pitiful and being a big cry baby. I don't get colds very often so I whine terribly when I finally get one lol.

Hope you all have an amazing holiday

Kat

Flu

Ugh! Well, I haven't had the best 2 weeks lol. I spent most of that time cuddled under the blankets nursing the dreaded flu! I felt awful!

The good news is that aside from the remains of the migraine, I am feeling much better!

I have had a pretty decent time in my introduction to social networking. I found almost all of my old high school buddies and yuppers we all feel pretty old - some even look it! They had me move over to facebook and since I was "down with a sickness" I had a perfectly good excuse to spend far too much time playing silly little games as a means of wasting time.

I am even thinking about signing up for facebook as Paramour for all my little hobby freaks....have not decided definitely yet though.

Looking forward to getting back to real life again.

Hope you all are well!

Always

Kat

Myspace of my face??

Okay. Some of you know that I signed up to myspace so that I could view my brothers profile right?

Well some of my personal friends and my kids have been pushing me to get back on there and be more active. It's not something I was all that interested in mainly because I just don't know anyone anymore. I keep to myself and Twitter or Myspace just don't seem to have a whole lot to offer someone like me who limits their own interaction with other people. Besides, I'm not all that great at keeping in contact with the few friends I allow myself to have now....how bad will I be with more?

BUT it's kind of fun I guess. I got on there and low and behold I found one of my other husbands. He was my second big mistake and we have been happily married for over 15 years. I say married because we never got divorced in the legal sense.I say Happily because I haven't had to deal with his shit for most of the past 15 years - aside from his old attempts to latch back on. But over that last 6 years I have heard not a word from him thankfully!

BUT I do want a divorce as he is killing my credit score! So I contacted him on myspace and it appears that his lady would like us to divorce as well - that would be wonderful! Hopefully she will get him in gear with that line of thought.

I also stumbled across old acquaintances from high school - how wierd is that. Sure does make me feel OLD! Some of my old HS buddies haven't aged so well and seeing all their wrinkles and gray hairs makes me look in the mirror and wonder just how old I really look to other people hahaha. Am I another Crypt Keeper? I never thought Myspace would send me into immediate considerations of getting a facelift at the ripe old age of 34????

So what are the proper social rule in contacting blasts from the past? Do I leave them alone or do I send them a friends request? What is the protocol here? How do you know what to do when you find the people you haven't seen in ages? This was likely best left alone and I wonder what can of worms myspace might accidently open for me.....Do we really wish to reconnect with people from our distant pasts?
