Going to be doing some Traveling....
As mentioned in a previous blog, my current reality has left quite a bit to be desired. Especially over the past several weeks.
My family has all but imploded and of course I came out the bad guy in that mess. My home was burgled and I took quite a loss resulting in leaving my business practically dead on arrival. Vehicle issues. Neighborhood tedium. Killing myself trying to make everyone happy and failing miserably lol.
The only relief from all this mess has been the times that I have had the pleasure of escaping reality with my Hobby friends. I can't help but to eagerly anticipate each opportunity I have to hop in my little rollerskate of a car, leaving reality in my rearview mirror.
Since my opportunities to work have been drasticly reduced with the loss of some very important and expensive equipment, and the fact that my family is driving me batshit crazy, I have very little holding me here at home. I have spent so much time taking care of everyone else and getting absolutely NO appreciation for it, that I finally realize I am wasting my time and energy. It's high time I took care of me for a change!!
A few of my guys have invited me to visit their area again so I have decided to really put in an effort to occupy my time away from Indy as often as possible. A nice room, maybe a jacuzzi, go out for nice dinners, no stress, no drama, just pleasure and enjoyment. I don't have to return to reality until Labor Day and then I am off work until Mid October.
July will be spent mostly revisiting my favorites (check the calendar on my site) but since I am such a creature of habit, it's not going to take long before I exhaust those options. Now is the perfect opportunity for me to visitr the places that I have been wanting to see but just haven't had the opportunity.
I am hoping to finally have a chance to visit the New England Area, as well as the East Coast. I have never seen the ocean and while it may sound cliche' I would like to experience atleast once before I'm too old to enjoy it. I also want to see the Appalachian Mountains while it's still wamr enough to enjoy it and not fearing that I am going to get stranded in some mountain road snow storm lol. Maybe even make my way down to Texas to visit my brother in September??? I don't know.
I do know that I just want to get away for a while. I want to reconnect with myself for a change and thankfully within the hobby I have the opportunity to do just that.I shall keep you posted....
