A Valley Ho at the Valley Ho!
Last week my boy friend was here visiting and we stayed at the Valley Ho which is a really cool resort in Scottsdale. It's very 60s-retro. Back in the day it was apparently a hang-out for the likes of Natalie Wood and Robert Wagner. Our room was done in shades of electric blue, green and orange. We had the most wonderful soaking tub and I took full advantage of that! We had dinner at their restaurant which is called ZuZu's. I'm sipping on a peach martini. That thing was gooooood!!!
The weather was spectacular as always at this time of year here in Arizona. Mid-80s and balmy. The winters here make the inferno we suffer all summer worth it (sort of).
After dinner, we sat on our little balcony, sipped champagne and enjoyed a brief rain shower. A good time was had by all . . .
