Ending On a High Note
What a day! I lost my mind! LOL First of all, I had major insomnia the past 2 nights. Lack of sleep really does a number on my brain! LOL
I had a job interview scheduled for today. I knew from the moment I got ready I was not fully alert and it just might not go so good. Well.....lol. More about that later. So, I get up early to go to this dumb ass meeting at work and I do mean dumb. LOL The said it was mandatory. I am still trying to figure out what exactly the reasoning was behind that because it was nothing more than business as usual. I remain bewildered. I was not impressed. LOL
So, the meeting goes on and on and on, which in turn ends up making me late for another meeting I was suppose to go to and yes you guessed it! I missed it! Not that big of a deal, but still.
Next, I decide to go for some lunch and what do you know? I spilled salsa on my shirt! Well, that created quite the predicament since I had the interview coming up. So, then I had to go the nearby shopping center and buy a new outfit. That was irritating all within itself. I was beginning to get highly annoyed by this time. LOL
Then after I departed the retail establishment, I got in my car to get directions to the interview and much to my dismay, discover I am not in the right area. LOL Shew....LOL Then my phone gives me the wrong directions. LOL I cannot catch a freaking break lately! Seriously.
So, I arrive at my destination for the interview. I go in and hear the receptionist talking. WHAT? Group interview? Please. Say it is not true! I loathe those! So, we go in and I am feeling like complete crap from lack of sleep. Then we are off to the races!
I felt so put on the spot while Mr. Got It Together is acing the questions like a freaking champ! I felt like saying, "Excuse me. Is there somewhere I can go for a nice, peaceful nap? I cannot deal with this right now. Besides, Mr. GIT is showing me up like no other. Let's face it. I am not getting this position." LOL
Then after the interview, Mr. GIT starts talking to me outside. OK. He seems very nice. I will admit that, but still. LOL Then as we converse, it comes to my attention we are both interviewing for the same position at another organization tomorrow. So, I thought, "Well, I'll be damned. WTF?" LOL
Now, I got news for Mr. GIT! Tomorrow I am getting that position we are interviewing for. I want it and I am going to get it! He better back it up! Tomorrow is my day to shine!
Then I exited the parking lot and became overwhelmed with a sense of elation for some unknown reason. So, I decided to call this guy I accidentally started talking to from a website. Don't you laugh! LOL It really was an accident. I rarely call men. I'm not sure what got into me.
He has been trying to get me to meet him, but I could not make up my mind if I wanted to or not.
He asked if I was hungry and I told him not really.
He asked if I wanted to meet. At first I told him I was not sure.
Then, the next thing I know I am pulling over to fix my makeup while we continued our chat. Then I said, "Where are you?" He told me. So I said,"Oh. I'm at so and so." He said, "I can turn around." I told him ok.
Then I was floored when he got out. He strolled towards me looking like all kinds of sexiness! I knew he was cute from his pics, but I was not expecting that. Me likey! A Lot! LOL
He said something that stopped me dead in my tracks a few minutes after we met. I just looked him right in the eye and said all I needed to say with no words. He asked me for a date this weekend when he called me later. He said I gave him butterflies and he felt like he was 16 again when we met earlier in the day. When he said he felt 16 again does that translate to he felt horny or what exactly does that mean? LOL
I am hoping for some good sleep tonight. Sweet dreams.
